Zee Wan obtained her postgraduate medical qualifications at the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom before completing her Medical Oncology fellowship in breast cancer in the United States of America. She worked as the Clinical Lead in breast cancer at the National Cancer Centre in Singapore before moving to Australia. Zee Wan received her Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Medical Oncology in 2013.

Zee Wan has been appointed as Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Monash University. She is also the Joint Clinical Director of the Southern Melbourne Integrated Cancer Service. Zee Wan has always been passionate about patient-centric care for her patients. She is keenly involved in clinical trials and research in cancer as well as service improvement initiatives. Zee Wan is a board member of Cancer Trials Australia and a member of the Medical and Scientific Committee at Cancer Council Victoria.

Zee Wan has numerous peer reviewed publications and has presented at both national and international Oncology conferences. She is a senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne where she also obtained a Specialist Certificate in Clinical Leadership.
